All's Quiet on the Home Front , again

A little over a week ago, we took the Marvelous Mad Madam M home.

Her visit was a very tumultuous one with a couple of visits to the hospital due to unidentified illness. Much stress was had by all.

H and I have a house guest coming to stay with us for awhile. She's one of our dearest friends. So for a bit the house will be occupied during the day. I just hope some king in training doesn't wonder by as she is an incarnation of her namesake. ;) Like in the stories by T.H. White she is a force unto herself, one with a past that haunts her and one that finds amusement and joy in unlikely places. But the thing she has most in common is that... Both our house guest and the character are highly magical tricksters.

So it should be interesting, if not fun ;)

But I still feel sorry for poor young Arthur. LOL.

News from The Homestead

Been an interesting time. Herself (My wife) has managed to damage her back through means unknown. So we've been taking it easy and I get to mow the grass (if I ever remember too/have the energy) .

To help combat the bad backs (mine is suffering from a case of computer chair) we joined a gym LifeTime Fitness . So far, so good. It's got a lot of equipment. And a nice jacuzzi to soothe my muscles. Herself, says we get to go whenever we're bored/broke. So, I may have to figure out how to use their WIFI service as we'll most likely be there a lot.

Now if I can just avoid Hans and Franz. ;)

I Started my first novel today, and thanks to the encouragement of my lovely wife hope to eventually finish (or at least leave something for my decedents to bicker over).
